The Evolution of the Valentine Lake Gold Camp in Newfoundland

Phil with present a talk that will cover the evolution of the gold deposits of the Valentine Lake Area during the formation of the Appalachian mountain system, the geology and the history of the property he has been working on since gold was first discovered there in 1985.
Jerry Bastedo, Executive Director of the Penn Dixie Paleontology and Outdoor Education will be making a presentation to the Scarborough Club. The Centre is about 18 kilometres south west of the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, near Hamburg New York. Fossil collecting is open to kids of all ages.
